What are the benefits of using a tripod and shooting multi-camera

The tripod is a vital piece of equipment as it provides sole stability for the camera and it enables the camera man with control he needs to film the most effective shots at precisely the right time. The tripod is important to balance the camera in order to get the most professional looking shots. Without a tripod the shots will be wonky and unbalanced and the production will look cheap and amorist.

A multi camera is a hugely important piece of equipment; this is as it allows the film to have the most effective and the most dramatic scenes it can possibly have. It is a great time saver as it enables the camera to film three actions at the same time, saving an extraordinary amount of time. It will also allow the camera to white balance the camera; creating a more professional look and a more effective scene.

When I come to film my actual production I will remember to set the Tripod up right, unscrew the camera holder, place the camera into the holder and then you have to white balance. This is important; as it makes the entire back ground clear and completely balanced. I have also learned the Dutch tilt which creates a dramatic and interesting effect.

I practiced with the multi camera and with the tripod with Jake Howells, here are my pictures to prove it:
