· Is a permit required?
· Is there any rest rooms?
· Is there a place to park?
· Is there any distraction? (Planes, birds, etc.)
o Check the setting!
· Is there the correct interior inside? (Air con, light, etc.)
· Electrical check- Can it accommodate your equipment? (Is there electrical out puts for light, cameras etc. If not a generator might be required)
· Are the neighbours happy with this?
· Is there confirmation from owners?
· Are you disturbing there business or their work?
· Are there people nearby that might cause a distraction?
On a Recce you should:
· Take photographs
· Find out who owns the land
· Ask if permission would be granted
· Find out if there is any ‘noise’ nearby
· Work out if it is easy to get to
· Find out how to get to it
· Find out if your crew would be disturbed or interrupted while working
· Look for any potential health and safety hazards
